Can you accommodate allergies?
Yes! but not all.
We do our best to accommodate all requests, but please note that we do not currently offer a vegan menu.
Changes to the menu's meat, fish or seafood dishes will often be replaced with a vegetarian alternative.
If you or your guests have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform us by email; jatak@jatakcph.com at least 5 days before your reservation.
How do we sit?
At JATAK, our guests are seated at tables in our Dining Room or side by side on counter high chairs at our Kitchen Counter.
It is not possible to reserve selected seats or tables in the restaurant, but if you have a preference, you can add this in the guest comments field when making your reservation or send it by email to jatak@jatakcph.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
How long do we have the table?
To ensure that all our guests have the best possible experience, table reservations are limited to 2.5 hours.
If you need additional time, please contact us in advance.
We kindly ask you to be punctual. We will hold your table for 15 minutes after the reserved time. In case of later arrival, the table is not guaranteed.
Do you have a wine pairing?
Yes! We have two pairings 5 glasses or 7 glasses.
We also offer non-alcoholic pairings.
Can I see the wine list?
At the moment we change our wine list daily, therefore we do not send out the list prior to arrival.
What is your corkage policy?
We charge 650 DKK for a standard 750 ml bottle and 850 DKK for a magnum. We allow a maximum of two standard bottles or one magnum per reservation.
Can I purchase a gift card?
At the moment we do not offer gift cards. However it is possible to prepay when making a reservation.
Can I bring my dog?
Due to our open kitchen, we do not allow pets in the restaurant.
Do I have a reservation?
If you completed your reservation and your credit card is approved you will receive a booking confirmation with the details of your booking.
Upon arrival it is necessary to show this confirmation.
Curiosity
When do you open for reservation?
Reservations are open 1 month in advance.
This means on the date of the current month you can reserve a table for the same date of the following month.
Do you charge for reservations?
A reservation is free of charge.
For groups of 7 guests (and more) a prepayment is required.
How can I make a Group Reservations?
For 7 or more guests, please contact us via email; jatak@jatakcph.com.
We can accommodate groups up to 16 guests.
A non-refundable deposit is required for group reservations. This deposit will be deducted from the total bill on the day of your visit.
Can your restaurant be reserved for a private event?
Yes! Please contact us via email; jatak@jatakcph.com.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes! You are welcome to come by and see if we have availability.
I am on the waiting list, how do I know if I get a table?
When you land on the waiting list, it is because all tables on the night you wish to book is already reserved.
We use the waiting list if we get a cancellation.
If you get moved from the waiting list to a table, you will receive an invitation through the email you added to your waiting list profile.
Please open the link in the invitation and fill in credit card details to confirm your booking.
Should we get a table available last minute, we will offer the table to you by phone.
Can I change my reservation?
If you wish to alter your reservation date, time or amount of guests, please cancel your reservation and book a new one that suits your needs.
A reduction in the number of guests upon arrival at your reservation will result in a no-show fee corresponding to the number of missing guests.
How can I cancel my reservation?
It is possible to cancel your reservation free of charge up to 72 hours before the reservation time. This is done via the cancellation link in your booking confirmation.
We do not accept cancellations via email.
For cancellations less than 72 hours before the reservation, we reserve the right to charge a fee of DKK 750,- per person. This also applies to cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or canceled flights.
All cancellations are final.
In the event of a no-show from your reservation, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of DKK 1.500,- per person.
